The Language Of Sex
by Smalley and Ted Cunningham
Several years ago, the pastors of our church were meeting at Panera Bread to brainstorm and plan the Song of Songs series we were going to start on the following Sunday morning. We were having a blast and being quite graphic as we followed the text, having more fun than you could possibly imagine with Solomon. We were laughing and quoting and so on. One of our pastors got up to get a refill and met a guy at the coffee center. The guy asked, “What do you guys do for a living?” “We are pastors,” one of my friends replied. “What church?” the guy asked. “Woodland Hills,” I responded. “Sounds like my kind of church!” the guy responded. For way too long, the Church has been silent on the issue of sexual intimacy. As a result, many Christians and non-Christians have developed an unhealthy understanding of one of God’s greatest gifts: sex. That’s why in the upcoming study, we’re going to give you the tools you need to enjoy the best sex of your life, as well as the marriage you’ve always hoped for!
